Effective July 2021, Shearwater introduced a new wireless transmitter named the SWIFT intended to replace their original legacy transmitter. All existing Shearwater air integrated dive computer models (when updated with the current firmware release) are compatible with both the SWIFT and the legacy transmitters. Both transmitters are also compatible with each other.
The Swift is the next generation of smart AI transmistters. It listens for other transmitters, transmits when the channel is clear and avoid collision with other signals. Divers can now pair the Swift with an air-integrated Shearwater computer to complete their ultimate dive computer system.
